K Laser's Board of Directors consists of seven members. Their careers span a wide breadth of technology, businesses and management experience. Two of the seven members are independent directors: Mr. Cheng- Sang Huang and Mr. Ted Yao.

The Board's primary duty is to oversee the overall business and corporate affairs of K Laser. Day-to-day operations, preparation of financial statements, fund raising, and investments remain the legal responsibility of the Company's management, and the activities of the Board do not supersede or alter those responsibilities.

In conjunction with Company's management, the Board also monitors regulatory activities, such as amendments to Taiwan's laws, amendments to SEC rules and changes to Taiwan Stock Exchange listing requirements.

Directors’ Biographies

Alex Kuo has been the Chairman of our board of directors since our establishment and also is the CEO of K Laser Group. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from SUNY Stony Brook, NY University and has been active in the laser and holograms for 20 years.

 Daniel Kuo, director, is the CEO of K Laser and also the G.M. of K Laser Group. He holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering NJIT, NJ. 

K.L. Tsai, director, is the Chairman of Univacco Technology Inc. and he holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering of Dang Jang University. 

Cheng- Sang Huang, independent director, is director of Sunsino Ventures Group, director of  National Association of Small & Medium Enterprises R.O.C., director of  Chinese Business Incubation Association (CBIA), director of  Small Business Integrated Assistance Center, director of Center Laboratories Inc, director of  BioCare Corporation and the supervisor of  Chien Hsiang Security Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Huang holds a MS in Industrial Management of National Cheng Kung University and was president of Business Management Consultants Association of Republic of China, president of National Association of Small & Medium Enterprises R.O.C, committee member of Industrial Development Advisory Council, secretary Genera of MIT Enterprise Forum of Taiwan and GM of Sunsino Ventures Group. 

Mr. Ted Yao, independent director, is vice general manager of SinoStar Capital Inc, supervisor of Tai Tien Electronics Co., Ltd., director of Edison Opto Corporation, director of Reti Corporation, director of ADDtek Corporation, secretary General of  MIT Enterprise Forum of Taiwan and GM of  Ien-Chen Investment Co., Ltd.
